Helping Hands Consulting can provide project-based services that align with my scope of work listed below. 

Community Health Practices 

Community Health Practices are actions, programs, and behaviors that groups of people use to protect and improve the health of everyone in a community. Community health practices help prevent diseases, promote healthier lifestyles, and improve the overall well-being of the population. 

Community Engagement  

A collaborative process between an organization or group and community members to work on issues that affect them. Community engagement involves building relationships, fostering communication, and actively including community members in decision-making to improve well-being and achieve shared goals. 

Community-Centered Sustainability   

Is an approach to sustainability that puts people culture, relationships, and local leadership at the heart of environmental and social soulutions. Community-Centered Sustainablity is about empowering communities to design and manage their own inititatives, ensuring environmental, social, and economic well-being are interconnected and culturally relevant for long-term success.  

Program Planning   

The process of thinking through and organizing all the steps needed to create and run a program successfully. Program Planning is deciding what you want to do, why you want to do it, how you will do it, and how will you know if it worked. 

Reproductive Issues  

Reproductive Justice: Is the human right to control our sexuality, our gender, our work, and our reproduction. Reproductive justice → community-centered, intersectional framework ensuring rights + freedom + the conditions to parent safely and thrive. 

Reproductive Rights: Refers to the legal rights and protections that allow indivdulas to make decision about their reproductive health. Reproductive rights → legal protections

Reproductive Freedom: Refers to the ability- in real life not just on paper- to make choices about one's body, fertitlity and family without coercion, barriers, or external control. Reproductive freedom → personal ability and autonomy

Birth Justice  

The Birth Justice Movement focuses on addressing these disparities by amplifying the voices and experiences of those most impacted. Birth Justice envisions a health care system that prioritze informed choice, culturally sensitive care, and holistic support throghout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
