Trainings and Workshops

My trainings and workshops are designed with you in mind. Whether you're a grassroots organization, a community group, or an institution looking to deepen your impact, every workshop is built around your unique needs, goals, and context — not a one-size-fits-all curriculum.

From community organizing and advocacy to diversity, equity, and inclusion, my work is rooted in the belief that real change happens when people feel seen, equipped, and supported. Together, we'll explore practical tools, frameworks, and strategies that your team can immediately put into action.

This is a collaborative process from start to finish. Before we ever step into a room together, we'll connect to understand where your community or organization is, where you want to go, and what barriers stand in the way. From there, I'll shape a workshop experience that meets you exactly where you are.

What to expect:

  • Customized content tailored to your community or organizational priorities

  • Interactive, engaging sessions that center participant voices

  • A safe and inclusive space for honest dialogue and growth

  • Practical takeaways grounded in real-world application

No matter the topic, my goal is simple: to walk alongside you in building the knowledge, skills, and confidence to create meaningful, lasting change.

Rooted in Care: An Ethics Framework for Reproductive Justice

Rooted in Care: An Ethics Framework for Reproductive Justice is an interactive workshop for healthcare and community practitioners committed to justice-centered practice. Grounded in the reproductive justice framework created by the SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Collective, this training explores how power, history, and structural inequities shape care — and how providers can build relationship-centered, autonomy-affirming, and community-rooted practices.

Reproductive Justice 101 for Healthcare Providers

Black, Indigenous, and women of color continue to face life-threatening disparities in maternal and reproductive healthcare — and providers play a critical role in changing that reality. This training invites physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to deepen their understanding of Reproductive Justice and its direct application to clinical practice. Rooted in the framework developed by women of color-led movements, this training goes beyond awareness to equip providers with the tools, language, and perspective needed to deliver care that is truly dignified, equitable, and patient-centered.

Integrating Doula Support in Clinical Settings

A Multi-Session Training Series for Healthcare Teams

The evidence is clear — when doulas and clinical providers work together, patients experience better outcomes, greater satisfaction, and more dignified care. But building that collaboration doesn't happen by accident. It takes intention, trust, and a shared commitment to holistic, patient-centered practice.

Integrating Doula Support in Clinical Settings is a four-part training series designed to help mixed healthcare teams — physicians, nurses, midwives, doulas, social workers, and care coordinators — develop the knowledge, skills, and relationships needed to deliver truly integrated care.

How to Build Intentional Relationships

How to Build Intentional Relationships is a dynamic, interactive training that challenges participants to move beyond surface-level networking and performative allyship toward something deeper, more honest, and more transformative. Whether you're a community organizer, healthcare provider, nonprofit professional, educator, or corporate leader, this training meets you where you are and invites you to grow.

This training is built around the belief that intentional relationship building is not a soft skill — it is a practice, a discipline, and a responsibility. And when done well, it becomes one of the most powerful tools for creating lasting, equity-centered change.

Cultural Humility in Maternal Health

Cultural Humility in Maternal Health is a transformative multi-session training series designed to strengthen the capacity of both clinical providers and community-based workers to deliver maternal health care that is rooted in justice, healing, and authentic partnership. This series brings together two worlds that are too often kept separate — the clinical and the community — and builds a shared foundation for doing this work with integrity, accountability, and care.

Grounded in the principles of cultural humility, healing-centered engagement, Reproductive Justice, and community partnership, this series challenges participants to look inward, examine systems, and take meaningful action toward more equitable maternal health outcomes across pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
